Lung Cancer Research Foundation raises over $365,000
On the 12th of August 2019, Lung Cancer Research Foundation (one of our American members) held their annual stride for life in Southampton, NY, raising over $365,000.
The event takes places to raise awareness and funds for Lung Cancer research, as well as to honour those affected by the illness.
Brendon M. Stiles, Board Chair, LCRF called the event a ‘special day’, which helps fund the best Lung Cancer treatment and positively change the implications of a diagnosis.
Participants ran 3 miles in honour of loved ones, cancer survivors, friends, families and Lung Cancer patients.
