On the 9th of August 2019, our member for the Netherlands, Longkanker Nederland (Lung Cancer Netherlands) provided the details for its Rural Lung Cancer day, in collaboration with the Meander Medical Centre.

It will be held on the 2nd of November 2019 in Amersfoort, to mark Lung Cancer awareness month, and will be a special day for patients and their relatives.
There will be lectures on palliative care, Lung Cancer and immunotherapy. There will also be an information market with various organisations and a room for meeting and relaxing.
Thankfully, the event will be livestreamed for those who cannot attend.
The GLCC Journalism award will be given to the person who has given Lung Cancer the most media attention. The GLCC International Award will also be presented.
