The results of a study published on The Lancet shows that there have been a notable decrease in the cases of cancer being diagnosed since the COVID-19 outbreak in the Netherlands.

It is thought that patients with non-specific symptoms potentially having barriers in place from seeing gneral practitioners may be one cause, as well as here GP’s delaying further tests if symptoms don’t initailly indicate the presence of cancer.
