During the World Economic Forum (WEF) this week, the Lung Ambition Alliance and WEF launched a new report: Learning Lessons from across Europe: Prioritizing Lung Cancer after Covid-19.
The report calls upon governments to urgently restore lung cancer diagnosis and treatment to reduce further avoidable deaths. Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death worldwide; the GLCC and our partners are committed to overcoming barriers to screening and early diagnosis, supporting the introduction of innovative medicines and ensuring quality care. Initiatives like these are crucial to maintaining momentum in improving lung cancer care in Europe.
